According to the history books, we've been making brushes since 1746 and we like to think that we've learnt a thing or two on the way.

The Hamilton brand first appeared in the early 1800's, eventually joining forces with Acorn as recently as 1990. In 2001 the company was acquired by Anza, the third largest manufacturer of decorating products in Europe.

The Anza paint applicator business has been part of Norwegian Group Jordan since 1979, with Jordan's products spanning not only paint applicator products but also oral hygiene brands.
