Painting ceilings
Once you’ve prepared your surface, you’re ready to apply the
paint:
- First, cut-in the ceiling
(for tips on cutting in, please click here.)
- To do
this, take a small paint brush and to avoid overloading the brush, fill
your pot so the paint only comes half way up the
bristles
- Start in one corner and coat the ceiling,
ensuring you get right into the corners, then go over the paint to
ensure an even coat
- To cut in around any light
fittings, you may find it easier to isolate the electricity at the main
fuse box and then remove the fitting before you paint
